- Straight is the Path
Today there are many standing in the way of the truth of Christ. The following is a warning of the repercussions of this, for the Lord's Word has not or does not change from the beginning of creation 🙏♥️ When Apostle Paul (Saul) stepped out on his first missionary journey, he demonstrated immediately the power of the Holy Spirit. He came up against "Elymas" who sought to keep Paul & Barnabas from seeing Sergius Paulus , the deputy of the country. Sergius desired to hear the Word of God. Acts 13:8 KJV — But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith. Acts 13:9 KJV — Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, Acts 13:10 KJV — And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? Acts 13:11 KJV — And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand. In Acts 13:10 - the phrase "right ways of the Lord" has the Word "right" = euthys = straight, level Where else is this spoken? Jesus said: Matthew 7:13 KJV — Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Matthew 7:14 KJV — Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. "Broad is the Way to Destruction" The "right ways of the Lord" are the strait gate & narrow way. But most of all , you can see how Gracious & Merciful our Father is, even with Elymas, he could have chosen to destroy the sorcerer on the spot. (Through Paul via the Holy Spirit) But he made him blind , giving him a chance to see the truth, of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 6:12 KJV — For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Turn back to Jesus Christ, for the darkness you are comfortable with, is not the darkness closing in🙏♥️
- The Song of Mary
Mary the Mother of Jesus, what a beautiful role model. I will speak honestly here , having come from a Catholic background, & truthfully coming to Christ & being born again by him alone, I have struggled with the Roman Catholic Churches "deification" of Mary the Mother of Jesus. I have asked of the Lord , wondered & read Biblical context to get a deeper understanding of how Mary fits such an important biblical narrative of Christ our Saviour. Sometimes simplicity is the answer , thankyou Lord. 🙏♥️ The Magnificat or "The Song of Mary" has given me better insight. (The Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox Church, Lutheran Church, Anglican Communion include it in their services to a degree) In context when Mary visits her cousin Elizabeth who is carrying "John the Baptist" in her womb , the unborn child "John" leaps for joy as Mary greets Elizabeth. Mary is carrying Jesus Christ our Lord & Saviour. (Luke 1:39-45) The Holy Spirit enters Elizabeth at that time. Elizabeth was a vessel of the Holy Spirit proclaiming. Luke 1:42 KJV — And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. If the Lord declares Mary to be "Blessed amongst Women" who are we to contend? Further more each time Mary spoke , she was magnifying, glorifying, lifting up the Father. My Soul doth magnify the Lord And my Spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour (Luke 1:46-56) What a beautiful Woman of Christ each time pointing to the Glory of Our Father whilst holding him also in herself as a vessel. (the womb of Christ) This is a lesson we should all strive for, as Jesus repeatedly spoke about this in scripture. John 14:20 KJV — At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. Mary was in the Father & Christ was in her ♥️♥️♥️♥️🙏 John 14:21 KJV — He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Mary the 1st disciple...........
- Letting Go of Children
When we have done all we can ..... A great tug on heart strings occurs with any parent when they look upon their children. When we have done all we can ..... A great tug on heart strings occurs with any parent when they look upon their children. Particularly when they have departed the home for the "big wide world" They pray , they hope , they ask Jesus to show their child the Salvation of the Lord. The child is off to explore , to taste , to see - it's quite an exciting time for them. I think we have all done this. As we go , we start to experience the ups & downs , the harshness , the trials. Without this experience (oil) we cannot truly understand how broken we are living in a broken world. Every moment the loving parent standing by , always ready to pickup & help a child who is full of the "pride of life". The most important lesson I have learnt, is to consecrate , give up, hand over my cares , my worries about my children to a Glorious Father who has delivered me from so much. I can do everything that the Father has given me the ability to do as a parent, but past that point I have given over the growth, guidance , concern for their future & Salvation in Christ to him. This is not easy , it is tearful but it is necessary. ♥️🙏 Spend some time with Jesus, hand over your inner most thoughts & worries, this IS the healing balm you are looking for. 🙏🙏♥️♥️ We are also , isolated & removed from certain influences so the Lord can "go to work" on that child. Being able to "let go" & trust in the Lord's process of deliverance of your loved ones is also a process of "breaking the control" mechanism of us..... We cannot get to the following stage until we learn to trust in Our Father again. (we go from our Genetic Father to our Heavenly Father in a cycle of redemption through Christ Jesus) Jesus Christ said: Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:3 KJV
- Know the Times we are In.
How do we know the Biblical season we are in? There are many clues in the Bible. Mark 13:28 KJV — Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near: Mark 13:29 KJV — So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors. Mark 13:30 KJV — Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done. Mark 13:31 KJV — Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. "Now learn the parable of the fig tree" = understand Israel's timeline & the signs of my coming" "So ye in like manner, ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors" (this statement references all the preceding verses i.e. Mark 13:5-27 & Matthew 24:3-31) If you see these signs , you are very close to the coming of the Lord. Israel's Timeline: Ezekiel prophesied Israel's restoration 580 - 600 years before Christ was born. "Dry Bones" Ezekiel 37:1-140 In 1917 the Balfour declaration established a no man's land taking back Israel from the Ottoman Empire (Turkey). Jews started to return - refugees. In 1947 the UN declared Israel to be established. On May the 14th 1948 Israel became a Nation. God had brought back his people according to his 2000 year prophecy. In 1967 Israel was attacked by Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon (Palestinian uprising) they were outnumbered 10:1 - YHWH prevailed. (Great gains of land was achieved by Israel & they were only 19 years old) From 1917 to 1967 was 50 years which is a Biblical Jubilee year. On October 6th 1973 Egypt & Syria launched a surprise attack on Israel - known as the Yom Kippur war, - YHWH prevailed. Israel has just celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2018 - At this Time President Trump moved the USA'S embassy to Jerusalem & declared it "God's Eternal City" No one knows whether the Fig Tree Generation started in 1917 or 1948 or 1967. But one thing I think we can agree on is we are in the season. Jesus again speaks in Revelation 6 - The Sixth seal about the Fig Tree. Revelation 6:12 KJV — And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; Revelation 6:13 KJV — And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. "And the stars of heaven fell unto earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind " When Israel is encamped & being shaken by an enemy....... The Epistle of Paul also references the following that is indicative of the last days: 2 Timothy 3:1 KJV — This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 Timothy 3:2 KJV — For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 2 Timothy 3:3 KJV — Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 2 Timothy 3:4 KJV — Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 2 Timothy 3:5 KJV — Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. Sounds much like today..... Know the times we are in.... Matthew 7:14 KJV — Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
- Fulfill the Law
A beautiful share by Brother Matty It reminds me of the beautiful account of the adulterous woman. John 8:7 KJV — So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. The accusers gave Jesus their interpretation of the Law (which He actually corrected by quoting the Law back to them) "I don't know how much speculation I have heard, there has been so much Western speculation upon what Jesus wrote!" When the point actually was: That the same One who wrote the Law with His own finger was Writing IT again with His own finger. Jesus was fulfilling the Law 🙏♥️ Matthew 5:17 KJV — Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
- Spirits that Influence
Demons operate in gangs: If you meet one member of the gang , instantly it pays to look for other members..... For instance: You have the case of depression, fear , loneliness, self- pity, despair.....do you know the next one ? Suicide. When you find that group, it's only a question of time that suicide has not come in. Each spirit opens the way for the next one. Or you can take the demon of anger , then the spirit of violence then the next one is murder.... The demon of murder does not come in to you because you have committed murder , but it abides in you to commit murder. As long as you have it in you, you are in a dangerous position. Because in a sudden moment of anger who knows what you could have done. That moment of drunkenness when emboldened, that moment of rage, is permission for the demon to step in & takeover.... Many who have committed murder say "I don't know what came over me" They are patient , they have been around watching you & your ancestors for many generations. They pretend to be relatives, family, friends of deceased....they have had much time to watch , to learn then mimic. (familiar spirits) Other people have the demon of Adultery who have not committed it yet , but it is there pushing them into it.....along with their desires.... Proverbs 16:32 KJV — He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. Proverbs 25:28 KJV — He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls. Rule only comes with genuine commitment to Jesus Christ seeking his ways 🙏♥️
- It's not working.......prayer
When we have exhausted every way to elicit a response from God in prayer....... We have prayed We have declared We have worshipped We have begged We have cried We have knelt We have prostrated We have called out We have sung For 4 hours straight...... And there is still no response Every aspect has been exhausted... You feel depleted , sad , ignored , worthless , lost , lonely , bewildered.... Now you are ready to hear. No one ever said dying to self is easy. The Lord does not show up at the beginning. The Lord does not show up in the middle. The Lord shows up at the End. The World's ways are not the Father's ways. Isaiah 55:8 KJV — For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

- Wipe away Tears...
Knowing Christ Jesus & coming to his feet in repentance is an acknowledgement & reflection of your heart for the gift Christ has given us ♥️ Have you been at Christ's feet ? Luke 7:38 KJV — And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment. The promise of our Father for those who love him, our tears , our sorrow , our pain will be wiped away ..... Isaiah 25:8 KJV — He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it. Revelation 7:17 KJV — For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. Revelation 21:4 KJV — And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
- Australia Day as a Christian
This is God's great Southland of the Holy Spirit - with destiny and prophetic purpose under God. And today is a day to pause and reflect on the many reasons why we can be truly thankful to call Australia home. Coming together to celebrate our nationhood is so important. We have many national days reserved for reflection and mourning, but today should be a day of thankfulness for the good things we are privileged to share, including education, health care, our economy, employment, food and shelter, and our democracy. We do well to reflect and learn from past wrongs. And yes, our history has sin involved, but so does every past, and every culture. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. That is what makes the Good News - the unmerited favour of God shown to us through the sacrificial life of Jesus - so good! In many places in the world we have seen the tragic consequences of unhealed bitterness, unforgiveness, distrust and division - where the fabric of nationhood seems irreparably torn. Let's not go down that road. Today, let's focus on the things that unite us as a country, not divide us. Philippians 4:8 KJV — Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:9 KJV — Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. (Excerpt from Michelle Pearse ACL)
