  • The Three-Way Struggle

In Palestine a three-way struggle continued between Jews, Arabs, and the British, with the Jews holding tenaciously to each hard-earned village and settlement. The attitude of the massive Arab and British forces about them must have created a situation reminiscent of an earlier return of Jews to their land, when their enemies said: "What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned?" (Nehemiah 4:2). Now as then the Jews continued to develop their land in spite of dangers, and to protect themselves as had their forefathers under Nehemiah, who had written: And it came to pass from that time forth, that the half of my servants wrought in the work, and the other half of them held both the spears, the shields, and the bows, and the habergeons; and the rulers were behind all the house of Judah. They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon. For the builders, every one had his sword girded by his side, and so builded. And he that sounded the trumpet was by me (Nehemiah 4:16-18). U. N. Intervention The continual struggle in Palestine was finally too much for the British. They were tired of the terrorism, the sabotage, the continual conflict between the Arabs and the Jews, and the expense. On April 2, 1947, Great Britain turned the fate of Palestine over to the United Nations. It was an historic action that would ultimately bring about the establishment of the State of Israel. On November 29, 1947, after careful investigation, the United Nations voted to partition Palestine, giving independence to the Jews. The partition gave the Jews only about one-fourth of the amount of territory they originally intended for their homeland. It was only ten miles wide at its middle and vulnerable to attack on nearly every side. But to the Jews, the decision for partition meant independence, and they hailed the United Nations' action with joy. At last they would have a home of their own. Birth of a Nation The date for statehood was finally set for May 15, 1948. As the occasion approached, Jewish excitement over independence was tempered by the threat of war with the Arabs. Being seriously undermanned and under gunned, they simply were not ready for war. Arms had been brought from Europe, but the British would not allow them to be used until after the mandate had ended. Arab leaders were promising a war of extermination. Having traveled the long trail from Hitler's camps to their homeland, it now appeared that another Nazi-like experience awaited the Jews. But regardless of the danger, the Jews proceeded with preparations for the birth of their nation. At eight in the morning on May 14, the British lowered the Union Jack in Jerusalem. By mid-afternoon there was a full-scale war on throughout the country between the Arabs and the Jews. At 4:00 P.M. that day, David Ben-Gurion read the Declaration of Independence of Israel and it was broadcast from the Tel Aviv Museum. He began: The land of Israel was the birthplace of the Jewish people. Here their spiritual, religious, and national identity was formed. Here they achieved independence and created a culture of national and universal significance. Here they wrote and gave the Bible to the world. Exiled from Palestine, the Jewish people remained faithful to it in all the countries of their dispersion, never ceasing to pray and hope for their return and restoration of their national freedom. Concluding the Declaration, Ben-Gurion said: In the midst of wanton aggression, we call upon the Arab inhabitants of the State of Israel to return to the ways of peace and play their part in the development of the State with full and equal citizenship and due representation in all its bodies and institutions -- provisional or permanent. We offer peace and unity to all the neighbouring states and their peoples, and invite them to cooperate with the independent Jewish nation for the common good of all. Our call goes out to the Jewish people all over the world to rally to our side in the task of immigration and development and to stand by us in the great struggle for the fulfillment of the dream of generations -- the redemption of Israel. The United States was the first country to recognize the State of Israel, with President Truman's statement of recognition coming at 6:10 P.M. on May 14. On that day, the following editorial appeared in the New York Times: This is the last day of British rule in Palestine. At midnight (6:00 this afternoon our time), Great Britain surrenders the mandate which she received from the League of Nations twenty-five years ago. The zero hour, awaited with hope and anxiety by the bitterly divided population, marks a fateful change in the status and government of a small country that has presented the United Nations with its hardest test to date and weighs more heavily than any other on the heart and conscience of the world. Palestine will now be an independent entity for the first time in centuries The long-awaited statehood had arrived. Israel was born. The War of Independence On May 15, from Tel Aviv at 5:25 in the morning, Ben-Gurion was broadcasting Israel's thanks to the United States for prompt recognition of their statehood. A loud explosion interrupted his speech. After a pause, he said, "A bomb has just fallen on this city from enemy aircraft flying overhead." The War of Independence had begun. To call it the "War of Independence" seems a contradiction. Most nations trace their histories to a war of independence after which statehood was won. In Israel's case, the long struggle for statehood was capped by a war of independence. Although there had been sporadic fighting throughout the country in the months preceding the end of the British mandate, the actual war began on the birthday of the nation. Although travail usually accompanies birth, in this historic situation travail and trouble continued after birth had taken place. The War of Independence was bloody and desperate. Had the Arabs known how poorly the Jews were armed they might have pressed their advantage and quickly won the war. The Arabs had been able to purchase weapons on the open market because they were recognized nations. Europe was then a giant weapons market, a sort of postwar rummage sale, but the Jews had been hindered in purchasing arms because of their political status. They had been able to secure some World War II arms, but at the beginning of the war they had only four large howitzers of the type used by the French army in the Franco-Prussian war of 1870. In one battle with forty-five Syrian tanks, only two of the ancient howitzers were available, having been hurriedly moved from Haifa to be used in the defense of the oldest kibbutz in Palestine. Colonel Moshe Dayan, the local commander, ordered his men to fire at the most advanced Syrian tank. The Israelis scored a direct hit, causing the column to turn around and retreat. They never returned. Had the Syrians known they had been fired upon with one of the only two weapons on hand at the time, they would have undoubtedly used their strength and firepower to win the battle. The Arab League nations that opposed Israel were Egypt, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Yemen, Lebanon, and Trans Jordan. They formed a formidable alliance against less than a million poorly armed Jews. Many of the Arabs fought well and Jewish casualties were high. Six thousand Israelis were killed during the eight months of war. Had American losses been that high proportionately during World War II, they would have reached two million, which is more than the number killed in both world wars. • Evidence to stand

A wise man once said, "I could make a case for Judaism had Christianity never happened......" "I cannot make a case for Christianity had Judaism not existed." The Evidence follows: Romans 11:17 NKJV — And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, Romans 11:19 NKJV — You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” Romans 11:23 NKJV — And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. Stand for the Lord's Chosen, stand for the Lost ❤️🙏

  • Sowing & Eating

What the Lord has declared from the beginning of time to the end of time will be accomplished. Isaiah 55: 1-13 is a beautiful reflection of the Fathers invitation to abundant life. "Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance." Isaiah 55:6 NKJV — Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Isaiah 55:8 NKJV — “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD. Isaiah 55:9 NKJV — “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:10 NKJV — “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, Isaiah 55:11 NKJV — So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. "That it may give seed to the Sower And bread to the eater, So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;" If you are a Sower for the Lord, he will provide what you need to sow , whether that be verbal or physical. If you are an Eater of the Word of the Lord , he will provide the bread to satisfy your hunger. For his Word does not 🚫 return Void. John 6:33 NKJV — “For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” John 6:35 NKJV — And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

  • Suffering

We can take comfort in the knowledge that Scripture teaches that God's perfect plan for each of us includes suffering, trials, and pain. Trials will make us either bitter or better. [Jas 1:2-4 KJV] 2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing [this], that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have [her] perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. Resistance to Suffering is Counterproductive Unfortunately, instead of counting problems and trials as joy and allowing them to work patience and maturity, many people tend to follow their natural inclination, and the difficulties produce bitterness and resentment. That, in turn, only amplifies dissatisfaction, until finally they are caught in a never-ending cycle of devastatingly negative feelings. The only effect resistance has on our trials is to make them more difficult to bear. When we rebel against God and turn from Him, we shut out the One who can enable us to carry whatever burden He gives us. How tragic it is to see someone who has gone through grief and pain who then turns sorrow into bitterness against God! That is not what God wants. He wants to make the burden light and the yoke easy to bear. [Mat 11:28-30 KJV] 28 Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light. From my personal experience , at my lowest point , When I pray & commune with Jesus , I can find no other time where I am closer. ❤️🙏 Thankyou Jesus

  • Everyone has to talk to God!

You can love him, You can blame him , but in the end you have to meet him.....

  • His hand is stretched out still

How forgiving & gracious is Our Father? Isaiah 5:20 KJV — Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. Isaiah 9:9 KJV — And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in the pride and stoutness of heart, Isaiah 9:10 KJV — The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. Isaiah 9:13 KJV — For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. Isaiah 9:18 KJV — For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. Isaiah 10:1 KJV — Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; Isaiah 10:2 KJV — To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless! For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. When will the Lord's hand be removed? 2 John 1:3 KJV — Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. God - YHWH , Loved us so much , he stretched out his hand to us through his only begotten Son , Jesus Christ, that through Christ in repentance & belief we can enter into his rest. 🙏♥️ And his hand is still stretched out....... But the season is closing.

  • The Stone The Ark The Rock The Heart

The physical works in Deuteronomy 10:1-5 compared with the Spiritual walk that Yahushua undertook are amazing. The Stone Tablets that God (YHWH) wrote on & commanded Moses to put into the Ark is interesting. Deuteronomy 10:1 KJV — At that time the LORD said unto me, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first, and come up unto me into the mount, and make thee an ark of wood. The 10 commandments we know , they are written in stone , long after all things are burnt up in this World, stone always remains. We are born inherently knowing right from wrong. - (the World teaches otherwise) The Ark , also referred to as a "chest" The "chest" carries the commandments of stone. What is in the chest ? The Heart ❤️ What good is a chest containing a heart if it is based around ordinance & work ? Jesus came not only to fulfil the law & destroy the works of the Devil , but to also turn the Heart to the Father. Matthew 5:17 KJV — Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 1 John 3:8 KJV — He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Matthew 5:8 KJV — Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Jesus is Our Cornerstone. Matthew 21:42 KJV — Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? Jesus is Our Rock. Matthew 7:24 KJV — Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: This about wraps up what I were led to convey - Thankyou Jesus 🙏♥️ 2 Corinthians 3:3 KJV — Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. Fleshy Tables of the Heart ❤️❤️ This is why we are Heart of Hope. Times are coming where solid foundation is needed.

  • Commitment

Jesus says in Matthew 5:10 Jesus says in Matthew 5:10 [Mat 5:10 KJV] Blessed [are] they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. The dye has been cast I have stepped over the line The decision has been made I AM a disciple of Jesus Christ I will not: Look up Let Up Slow down back away or be still. I no longer need: Pre-eminence Prosperity Position Promotions Plaudits or Popularity. I do not have to be right I do not have to be first I do not have to be recognized, praised, regarded or rewarded. My pace is set My gate is fast My goal is heaven My road is narrow My way is rough My companions are few My guide is reliable My mission is clear I cannot be: Bought Compromised Deterred Lured away Turned back Deluded or Delayed I will not Give up Back up Let up or Shut up Until I have Preached up Prayed up Stored up and Stayed up the cause of Christ I must go until he returns I must give until I drop I must preach until all know I must work until he comes When he comes back for his own , He will have no trouble recognizing me My walk will be clear and my testimony will be nailed to the Cross. [Rom 1:16 KJV] For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

  • 911 -Pages of the Bible Fused to Steel

A firefighter found the fragment in March 2002, under the Tully Road, a temporary truck route that covered the last remnants of the south tower. He called out to the photographer, who happened to be nearby. “This shredded, burned and rubble-covered Bible came to me from the loving hands of a fireman who knew that I was the record keeper of ground zero,” Mr. Meyerowitz said Thursday in an e-mail from Italy, where he now lives. “My astonishment at seeing the page that the Bible was open to made me realize that the Bible’s message survives throughout time,” he said, “and in every era we interpret its teachings freshly, as the occasion demands.” “Retaliation.” “Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.” So many chapters. So many verses. But these were the words — from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, in the Gospel of Matthew — found permanently exposed at Ground Zero after the Sept. 11 attacks. The pages of the Bible in which they were printed had fused to a chunk of steel as the World Trade Center collapsed, to be found only months later. [Mat 5:38-39 KJV] 38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: 39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

  • Going through the Cross

God demands more than coming to the Cross , God demands going through the Cross. It will take everything that a man has & owns & trusts in. The Sinner wants to come to the Cross & be forgiven, some preach only that..... "The Gospel of Accommodation" it is called. IN "The Gospel of Accommodation", there is not one Word talking about going on with Christ into the tomb to die ......going down into the grave & coming out resurrected into the newness of life.... They are taught to come to the Cross , kneel down , say a prayer then go back & return to your sins. No dying to Sin , No resurrection to the newness of Life. THAT is the offence of the Cross...... [Matthew 18:7 KJV] Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! It is required that you go all the way when you come, The Lord demands full obedience, he demands everything we have. The majority of Christians in these last days have been to the Cross but not through the Cross, they haven't been buried with Christ. Apostle Paul said , I died with Christ , I were raised with Christ, I were crucified with Christ , he picked up his cross & walked through with Christ. [Galatians 2:20 KJV] I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. [Romans 6:4 KJV] Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Men know what the Cross did for them , but not where it wants to take them to. The Gospel is not just about forgiveness, believing & attaining heaven some day.....it's not only the saving of the Soul......it's the saving of the Body. God says I want your flesh....as a living sacrifice...... That is the preaching of the Cross. [Romans 12:1 KJV] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service.
