To Love the Lord your God with all your heart , mind , soul & your strength.
Mark 12:30
The above is the most important commandment.
God says this:
Because you have set your love on me, therefore :
I will rescue you
I will protect you
You will call on me & I will answer you
I will be with you in trouble
I will deliver you & honour you
With long life I will satisfy you & show you my salvation.
Psalms 91:14-16
"my salvation" = Jesus Christ.
That is the reward of loving God.
Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
