What is Your conversation posture ?

A Kitchen is like a conversation, there is the right tool for the right creation.

Well , I have been slack , I have been repairing the kitchen drawers , a couple were falling apart after 23 years of abuse. I suppose I have got my money's worth. True to form, I have stitched them together again. Much to the disapproval of my wife - who has been wanting a new kitchen for years 😂🤣

Anyway , sometimes we can get a little bit more life out of something.

It's a bit like a conversation in a chat forum that is broken.

We must be careful of how we write words.

"Engrish" is such a "messed up language" sometimes the intent of what is written does not come out the way it is meant to be read.

I have noticed , if I enter into a conversation with pre conceived ideas or a spirit of opposition, my chat discussion never ends well, usually offending someone but more often I offend myself by my defensive posture.

I have made it a point to acknowledge, "by comparison I am new to the Christian faith" so I have much learning to do from everyone.

(If we think we are "learned & wise" we are bound for troubles.)

So each conversation I enter into , I seek an outcome that may enrich my knowledge.

Sometimes it feels like what I thought was right gets broken , this can cause defensiveness.

But the amazing thing , if we ask the Lord to show the clarity of the message delivered I realize , some things need to break to be repaired again.

Bit like my kitchen drawers really....

Ohh....The Lord reminded me we never stop learning from his creation.

In other words "do not hang your hat on one speaker of the Word"

We are a Body of Christ & will be raised by the Body of Christ - each having portions of truth.

When we are able to join that truth in fullness that will be our completion.

I pray this helps with conversations.

The more I learn, the less I know 🙏♥️

First page I turned to after my discussion above:

Thankyou Lord for Matthew 18:1 ESV — At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”

Matthew 18:2 ESV — And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them

Matthew 18:3 ESV — and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Consider this:

Matthew 18:4 ESV — Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 18:5 ESV — “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me,

A child is joyful, playful ,loving , caring, wanting to learn, trusting , and knows no limits.

When you encourage, love & discuss like Christ , YOU are receiving a reflection of Christ.

John 15:12 ESV — “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
