False Assurance....

Often stemming from Religious upbringing, Church Activity , involving ourselves in the actions of the Church Body , intellectual reasoning of the Word.

We can think we are "doing" what is right.

Sometimes our Worldly perspectives are awry. It is time we need to each check our own walks.

Are we reasoning that we have "salvation" by actions? I read & study ?, I do good works ? I attend church regularly ?

These are far from the truth of scripture.

When was the last time you experienced "true" conviction of the Holy Spirit?

You will know it!

It will come upon you , in those quiet moments of reflection.

Your connection to the Father will be strong.

Your repentance of what you have done will be heavy.

Your openness & baring of your soul, worries & concerns will be transparent to the Lord.

You will know the Love of Jesus that transcends all & see the truth in his sacrifice.

Your eyes will leak.😢

Your heart will purge.

Your joy will come.

You will determine never to disappoint Jesus by your Words & Actions again.

In this process is "BELIEF"

John 6:28 ESV — Then they said to him, “What must we do, to be doing the works of God?”

John 6:29 ESV — Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”

"THAT YOU BELIEVE IN HIM WHOM HE HAS SENT"

This is what we mean by spending time at Jesus feet.

Matthew 28:9 ESV — And behold, Jesus met them and said, “Greetings!” And they came up and took hold of his feet and worshiped him.

John 3:21 ESV — But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”

This process will repeat continuously, for we fall short of the Glory of God.

"For there is none righteous, no not one."

This is why we live in the time of Grace & Mercy given by Jesus death , burial & resurrection.
