What is the 1st part of "Entertainment" ?

What we see & hear becomes part of us.

Continually the Lord points to the Eyes & the Ears being the entrance to the heart.

This "will" become part of you.

And from out of the mouth the abundance of the heart flows.

[Matthew 15:18 KJV] But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

It is time to turn off that Movie , silence that worldly music & ingest the Word.

For what Jesus Christ did for us, is worth every spare moment. 🙏♥️

Jesus warned us what influence the eye has on the soul.

[Mat 6:22 ESV] "The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light,

[Mat 6:23 ESV] 23 but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!

How is great is the darkness ?

[2Pe 2:14 ESV] 14 They have eyes full of adultery, insatiable for sin. They entice unsteady souls. They have hearts trained in greed. Accursed children!

Moses Commands Obedience

In this instruction from Moses he shows how what we see can affects our soul. The context of this is "remember what you have seen so you may keep the Lords commandments diligently"

[Deu 4:9 ESV] 9 "Only take care, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things that your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. Make them known to your children and your children's children--

Glory awaits for those who practice with their eyes , ears , heart.

[1Co 2:9 ESV] But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him"-- (Isaiah 64:4)

There is also a Spiritual Aspect of eyes, ears as witnessed in the following.

[Rev 2:7 ESV] 7 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.'

An ear to hear..........

You cannot hear if you have been ingesting the Worlds "Entertainment"

[1Co 4:5 ESV] 5 Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.
